Letrado Advisory uses this public website to explain its services and receive initial consultation inquiries. It does not currently use advertising trackers, visitor analytics, user accounts, file uploads, or persistent application storage. The hosting provider may process routine technical information, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time, to deliver and protect the website.
Consultation inquiries
When a visitor submits the consultation form, Letrado receives the name, email address, applicant type, area of interest, approximate timeline, and message entered in the form. The form is intended only for a brief first inquiry.
The submission is processed by a server hosted on Vercel and sent through Resend to Letrado's Google Workspace inbox. The website does not write the inquiry to a separate client database. A visitor may instead contact Letrado directly by email.
To reduce automated abuse, the form keeps a short-lived request count associated with the network address supplied by the hosting platform. That count is held only in temporary server memory and is not written to a Letrado database.
Service providers
Vercel provides website hosting and receives the form request. Resend provides email delivery. Google Workspace receives and stores the resulting message in Letrado's business inbox. These providers process information as needed to perform those services, maintain reliability, and prevent abuse. Letrado does not sell inquiry information or use it for advertising through this website.
How inquiry information is used
Letrado uses an inquiry to understand the request, assess whether the team may be a useful fit, arrange a conversation, and respond to related follow-up. Messages may remain in the business inbox and correspondence history while Letrado handles the inquiry or manages a later advisory relationship.
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably useful for those purposes, recordkeeping, security, or applicable legal obligations. A person may ask Letrado to review or delete a prior inquiry, subject to information that reasonably needs to be kept.
Younger students
A parent or guardian should initiate an inquiry concerning an applicant under 18. The first message should contain only the information needed to arrange a conversation and describe the broad type of support being considered.
Sensitive information
Do not include passport numbers, government identification, financial account information, medical information, immigration records, transcripts, recommendation letters, essay files, or similarly sensitive material in an initial inquiry. If documents become relevant later, Letrado should first agree on an appropriate way to receive them.
No internet transmission is completely risk-free. The form uses encrypted web connections and limited server-side validation, but visitors should still keep the first message brief and non-sensitive.
